🎖️ Guild Wars 2 Level 80 Now What
Now I've just reached Level 80 and am halfway through my level 80 Personal Story. But now I've hit a roadblock. So I've been playing on the main Tyria map and my experience bar has gotten full. As far as I can work out, I can now transfer this bar to Mastery Points. HOWEVER I can't start training Masteries unless I play one of the expansions.
Posted June 6, 2018. Have a level 80 Mesmer. Kind of trying to diversify armor types. Have always in the past rolled dps style warriors. Dual wielding seeker types. So I’ll probably use 1 for warrior. For the second boost I’m torn between Necro, Rev, ranger and engineer. I’ll always do a bit of everything.
Hello. I just recently level 80 boosted my elementalist account after leveling it up 36 levels and completing 20% of the map. As of right now I…
So I'm just looking for suggestions on what to do once I hit 80. I play as an Engineer and have really been enjoying it. I'm level 76 now and figure I'll hit 80 sometime tonight after work. Now I know Guild Wars is different then many MMO's and that the journey and exploration isn't close to being over as hitting 80 isn't really the "end game". So far I've just been following and trying to
It is the top damage gear-set for Dragonhunter and Core.Buy level 80 exotics, nothing less. So don't waste gold on rares (unless you want a specific skin that's only available as a rare). You can either craft level 80 exotics yourself with 400 skill in Armorsmithing or Weaponsmithing or you can buy them off the TP.
1-80 is just the core game, Now you have 10 years worth of releases to go explore. There's no real one way to do things It's up to you to choose. Personally I recommend following the story in Order of the story journal, It's one long continuous story so going straight to expansions will spoil a lot.
If it were me making a new account and I had just hit level 80, there are three places I would immediately think to go: Silverwastes for profit. Fractals for ascended items, especially early trinkets. WvW just because I love the game mode. I imagine you've done all the personal story and dungeons on your way up to 80, but in case you don't know
One good thing to do first, if you haven't already, is get a full set of level 80 exotic equipment. You can buy it from the trading post with gold, from the temples in Orr with karma, from WvW merchants with badges of honour, or from the dungeon merchant with dungeon tokens. Or you can mix and match pieces from different sources if you don't
Dungeons! Most of the dungeons come between 75-80, and I know if you just hit 80 you don't have enough tokens for that super awesome looking gear you want from that one dungeon to make your character look completely badass. Go. Grind. Get it!! You no longer need experience, so everything you do should be with purpose.
schnerbst. • 1 yr. ago. I would suggest something like this for core mesmer: BUILD. Long range, big dmg, lots of tanking done by your clones. one of the safest glass canon builds i've played so far. Also transitions seamlessly into a phantasm chrono if you want to take it to the next level. Nightcrawl-EUW.
The build works fairly easy. Most things just activate passive while you play. Just be sure, to dodge regularly, you'll get a lot of protection and extra dmg, if you keep up your resolution buff. Regular swapping between the legends is also highly recommended (basically on CD).
Guild Wars 2 scales people down to the level of a zone. But ESO scales everyone everwhere to the ability of what this game would call a level 80 in exotic gear. Unless you enter a raid or their version of fractal like content, at which point your champion points take over and achieve an effect similar to using Ascended gear here.
You will have to play old content to level up or use items for that. MorbidEel • 2 yr. ago. expansion content is lv80 only so that is bad plan. 13. Sardaman • 2 yr. ago. Max level is 80 no matter what content you do or do not own, and technically can be reached without ever leaving your starting map.
Look at guides and get gear and builds for it and learn how to play by doing. Collections, adventures, open up your elite specs by getting masteries in the expansion areas, jumping puzzles, achivements or what ever float your boat or a bit of everything. It is all up to you to decide.
They don't want to swap the gear from toons. They want to use the boost on the Level 74 toon to get full exotic celestial on ele. Celestial gear can be damn expensive for a new level 80. If you can throw in $10 gems to gold you could deck yourself out and boost another class. It's not a huge waste though to boost the 74.
