I'm happy people without VR sets are able to play this and I'm not hating on the devs for creating this but I dont think the game has the same effect on you without all the VR capabilities. You being in the game, actually controlling Alyx was a big reason for the game to be a good experience. Half-Life Alyx, so far, is the top tier VR game if you exclude the simulators like MS Flight Sim and the like. Some of the other experiences and such are cool but they do border on being a gimmick. Sony seem to be aiming high with they talked up the Horizon VR title in the PSVR2 spec unveiling but the jury is out on that one until it releases. How to Enable the Console.
