The Vehicle Control Module (VCM) electronically cuts off fuel to injectors when engine speed exceeds 5500 RPM . You should hear fuel relay click on firewall when key is turned on . Esay way to check fuel pressure without proper gauges is to diconnect fuel supply line at engine and cycle key , Have plenty of rags around fuel line .
It's location is in the fuse/relay box under the hood. It's a 20 amp fuse in position 23. If the fuse is OK there's a fuel pump shut off switch located under the the glove box just above the carpet. To reset it, turn the ignition switch off, push the button on the switch, then turn the ignition on wait a few seconds then turn the ignition off.

Well Ford thru another curve, and surprized me. i went out pulled panel on right side of dash. there is the little inertia switch.so i wanted to ck. and the center red button was down. cant tell till you smack it pretty good,then just push it down, you will feel it go down.

ricks63toy, I believe that Ford still uses what is called an inertia switch even in the hybrids. This switch will shut off in the event of an accident shutting off the fuel pump. On the Lincoln MKZ, the fuel pump shut-off switch is located in the front passenger footwell area in the right upper corner. May you need to remove the lower scuff plate to access the switch. Turn the ignition to the ON position (Do not turn the ignition to ‘START) and wait a few seconds and return the key to off position. Warning!
Check using your diagnostic tool in live data for engine speed signal from your TRS and SRS sensors. You want to be sure that you have engine speed signal to the ECM or injection will be disabled. Sorry about not responding. I was looking for a location of fuel cut off reset button/ inertia switch. The videos I've found aren't specific on exact location . I've checked all fuses and relays and I'm not getting any power to the fuel pump.
